As the winds batter our shores, let's escape to the wonderful island of Ibiza.
A couple of weeks ago we headed to Ibiza for some late summer sun and headed into the hills for an afternoon at Pikes hotel. The resort is over 500 years old and has played host to many a celebrity over the years, hosting Freddie Mercury's 40th birthday and the location for Wham's Club Tropicana video..
The hotel is open all year round, to stay, party or dine. We took in the view on a cabana and soaked up the last rays of the year before tucking into an amazing roast (slightly surreal) and tucked away from the incoming rain in a cute little room.
Pikes hotel is well worth a visit, but make sure you call to reserve a table. You don't have to have a roast dinner, but you can't leave without trying the Tropicana drinks - heaven in a glass.
