We Love: Quince

DSC05209

Following on with our love of florists, we bring you a fairly new addition to the Brighton shop scene. Nestled in between many cafe and restaurants sits Quince, run by floral extraordinaire, Chris and Anna who previously ran a flower shop at Liberty in London for over 10 years. They both bring their expertise and artistic ways together to run this gorgeous shop, which don't forget, sell more than just flowers. If you are ever wandering the ever-wondrous lanes, then pop into Quince after some lunch to take a beautiful bunch home to brighten up your home :)

Whilst strolling through London on a lazy Sunday afternoon, we came across this gorgeous florist nestled in the heart of Borough Market. Hidden under the rail tracks and bursting with all kinds of flowers it sure put a little smile on our faces.

Ladies and Gentleman, you have your 48 hour warning! I repeat your 48 hour warning until
D day, (I mean V day)
Yes, this commercial day is nearly upon us, but it is the perfect time to show your family, friends or partner just how much they mean to you. Time can just pass us by far too quickly, and we forget to remind our loved ones, just how much they mean to us, and this day is the perfect excuse to show them. You could make it as extravagant, cheesy or personal as you desire, even a few simple words can touch a heart, as long as a little effort is involved.

Sending flowers comes from the old-fashioned custom of sending floral bouquets to pass on non-verbal messages, in the 18th century it was introduced that each flower had a specific meaning attached to it, making it possible to have an entire conversation using only flowers. That’s why today, the red rose (which symbolizes passion, true love and devotion) is still the most popular way to share an expression of love. And us girls just love it!

We popped into Miss Moles Flower Emporium located in Brighton. They have a great range of Valentines bouquets available, so pop in and have a look.
